Polyalthia korinti, now reclassified as Huberantha korinti, is a small tree native to South Asia, particularly India and Sri Lanka. It belongs to the Annonaceae family and typically grows up to 5 meters tall. The tree features elliptic to ovate-elliptic leaves with acuminate, twisted apices and acute bases. Its flowers are solitary and axillary, leading to clusters of one-seeded ovoid berries. Traditionally, the fruits are considered edible, and various parts of the plant have been used in ethnomedicine.
