Sangeethaamsha gifts green at their private concert

Recently, Sangeethaamsha, a non-profit based in the San Francisco Bay Area organized a private Indian classical music concert in the picturesque backyard of a private residence. The early morning event was a mesmerizing blend of Hindustani and Carnatic music, creating an unforgettable experience for around 60 attendees. The natural setting, complemented by the soft chirping of birds and the rustling of leaves, provided a perfect backdrop for the soulful performances.

The concert featured nine accomplished artists, each bringing their unique talents to the stage. The performances included classical vocal acts, solo sitar, santoor, and tabla pieces, enchanting the audience with their skill and artistry. You can read more about the performances here.

A highlight of the event was the partnership between Sangeethaamsha and Greenr Gifts. To honor the artists' contributions, Sangeethaamsha planted 450 mangrove trees in Kenya through Greenr Gifts - 50 trees in the name of each performing artist. This meaningful gesture not only celebrated the artists' talents but also reinforced their commitment to environmental sustainability.

Mangrove trees are vital for protecting coastal areas, supporting biodiversity, and combating climate change, making this initiative profoundly impactful. By merging the worlds of music and environmental stewardship, the event showcased how art and nature can harmoniously work together to create a positive legacy.

In recognition of their valuable contributions, each artist received a framed tree planting certificate at the event. Additionally, they were provided with detailed information about their trees, including access to a personal dashboard for tracking the progress and impact of their planted trees.
